I have been a town supporter for thirty years now, and for the very first time i`m thinking if we get beaten by 5 or 6 would this be a blessing in diguise. I not a million miles from Barnsley (I live in Hull) but I just can`t bring myself to go so I will watch it on tv with a great feeling of trepidation. I won`t be cheering if we do get hammered, but if this means pj goes, then so be it. Like the rest of you guys, whats happening to our club is breaking my heart. What the solution is (apart from pj going) i`m not too sure. There seems to be something very very wrong at boardroom level. is it clegg? is it the faceless ME? i don`t know, but what I do know is that now is the time for ME to come out of the shadows and state his intentions. whether this is in a tv interview or a meet with a fans forum or a press release, he has just got to show himself. While I saw his taking over the club as a godsend and I truly believe he did save our club i`m afraid that my loyalty toward him is nearly at an end. But this could easily be resolved if he speaks up, although I won`t be holding my breath. As for this afternoon, it may well be another posh job. History has told us that the town never does things the easy way, but by god it`s painful. There are times when I wished I hated Ipswich, but I cant help it, its in the blood and so the pain continues.
I honestly don't get why some of the fans are blaming Evans. He has pumped millions into this club. Jewell is primarily to blame, he bought the players, and he picks the team, you can't blame Evans for the players playing utter ****e.
i THOUGHT Andrews was terrific and oplayed a great captains role but the defending was abysmal no one guarding either post for corners poor back 4 line but if they can get these things right they can easily get into the playoffs as I have yet to see a better team than the one in the second half
