<laugh> we have a 5 a side thing going on at my uni, nothing serious so we take it in turns to go in goal. Lets just say I'm not in goal as long as the others*, some of the bastards boot it as hard as they can from 5 yards out!

*clearly due to my importance out on pitch rather than my pathetic goalkeeping

Good idea this. I've played at the soccer dome a few times and it's not to bad, if a bit pricey. The heat is ridiculous though! But if something gets arranged i would be up for it. I live in Wallsend so i could quite easily grab the metro and make my own way down!

I would be up for it but live in Newton Aycliffe (20mins south of Durham), I love a good game of 5-a-side, play every sunday!

I know this may be expensive but im sure when the season is over you can hire out St. James' Park for a game. I think its about £50 each (11 a side obviously) but im sure we could get together 22 players...

Back to the original idea, im good for every night but Sundays. Theres nowt better than a game of footy, to save costs why don't we just meet at the local park! We could smoke, drink, eat and play all day then!

Aye me too, the problem isn't getting people to say yes, its getting the money off everyone and then everyone being able to go. I would happlily pay what it was (think its about £1000 for the pitch)....so £1000 by 22 players is just short of £50 each.
