I had this as our best formation at the begining of the season because then we could accomodate both Jimmy and Tam, and Jimmy proved he is such an asset to have in the team(although not for on the ball skills) i like the way it can cange to a 4-2-1-3 if needed aswell. I really think this is our best formation with Bouazza left and Feeney right. (Just because hes quicker and works more.) What does everyone else make of this formation?

yes its works well when you have the two players who are prepared to go forward and also able and prepared to drop back <ok>
would not work with Henry who seems to be becoming a real lazy ****er for what ever reason.
i thought feeney done good against the shammers and given a little more time will be good for us,
and i must say that Marquis never stops does he, he was wearing me out watching him, shame his first touch often lets him down if he gets that sorted he will be a great player,

If we had a natural goal scorer like Morison playing up front on his own 4-2-3-1 would work but as none of our strikers are likely to reach double figures this season it is too negative, especially at home. We have 4 wide players with pace in Henry, Feeney, Bouazza and N'Guessan so with 2 of these playing we need 2 strikers to feed off their crosses if we are going to score goals to win matches. 4-4 2 is therefore our best formation. Alternatively to incorporate Tam and Jimmy in midfield we could play 4-3-3 with Simpson, Henderson or Marquis, McQuoid as the front 3 but this would mean playing without any natural wingers , although Simpson used to play wide right when he was on loan to us in 2007..
