Has Wigan's win changed the points needed for survival?
We may not be safe now with just two wins in our last 5, we may need to beat Spuds as well as WBA and Stoke, or get two draws and two wins.

Another side effect of last night is that Man C are back in the title race, which is not to our liking either..

37-38 points will do it for sure. Wigans good form dont last forever and at emirates they will get a rough awakening.

I said before the United game that 3 wins and a draw were needed to keep us up and I stand by that. Too many of the bottom group are playing well to allow a relatively easy escape. Someone will go down on 37.

I'm more disappointed in wigans win because it gives man city a sniff. I was banking on the title race being over by the time we play them.

I thought 2 more wins would do it, it might now be 3 wins or 2 wins and a draw or 2.

WBA will be huge, a win there and we are odds on to stay up.

You know, I'm sort of hoping Man City are within reach of the title on the day we play them because I'd rather have a Man City who are feeling nervous.

but that will all change if we dont win because we will have spurs next and 2 of the other teams have swansea and norwich at home.

Optimist! Still think we may need 40 - 3 Wins should do it!

I'm afraid not. You'll have to wreck West Ham's boozers instead.

We're going to win our next five games, so I wouldn't worry about it. This Rangers team is on the up.

    This.

Also if I am not mistaken Bolton have lost their last 2 games, Blackburn have lost their last 4 and Wolves have lost the will to live. Surely its only us and Wigan that are the teams in form. Can really see us getting another good result at the weekend.

This suggests that Blackburn and Bolton will struggle to get to 37 points imo. 36/37 points will do it I feel....long way to go yet though!

There's going to more twists still on this rollercoster season. Hope that our ride continues smoothly because we have to get 6-7 points from 4 matches. I dont expect much from the City match.

Wigans good form and especially their win against ManU added the pressure on us and put Blackburn to a despair. Bolton have that extra match against Villa where they could stir this thriller even more. I still believe 37-38 points at most will be enough.
