Newcastle v Bolton "Shola Ameobi could be back in a couple of weeks after he went to the United States to be fitted with a special mask for his broken cheekbone. His return will be a boost for Newcastle. But the problem for Magpies boss Alan Pardew is that he is having to replace Andy Carroll by mixing and matching his strikers and, in terms of ability, Ameobi, Nile Ranger, Leon Best, Peter Lovenkrands and Shefki Kuqi are all much of a muchness. Wanderers beat Fulham in the FA Cup without on-loan Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge, who was cup-tied, but he will be back for this game and looking to build on his record of three goals in three games for Bolton. He has done really well and given them a real lift. The interesting thing is that he has been playing up front with Kevin Davies and it is Johan Elmander who has been shifted out wide. Sturridge will be a threat again here but, because Newcastle are at home, and because I think they will match Bolton physically, I am going to go for a win for the Magpies." Prediction: 2-1
