Did I hear right on the news last week that at the Olympics next year Britain will have 30,000 troops at the ready for the expected terrorism threat?

    Do we have that many??

Yet more ridiculous waste of money when a country is practically on it's knees.

Lord Coe should be shot through the head. He is going to cause the ultimate ruination of this country.

He'll be alright though, toffee nosed twat.

I always preferred Steve Ovett anyway as did most of us ordinary punters.

We need the troops to kidnap all the foreign nationals and athletes. It's all part of the plan. <ok>

Maybe we can get Dame Vera Lynn in to entertain the troops?

Nostalgia just ain't what it used to be.

If we invite the American army too I'm sure there won't be 30,000 British troops left at the end of the Olympics. After a few incidents of friendly fire we'd be lucky to have half a dozen soldiers still standing.

I think Red Alert was my favourite. Which was the one with a James Bond-type secret agent?

It might just be that David Cameron really hates foreigners and wants to take the opportunity to kill as many as possible while he's still got a bit of fire power. It may be a luagh at first but after 2 weeks of it everyone will be a bit fed up of it I think.

Red Alert I think. General's was class. you could go the PLO (one struggle) and send suicide bombers into battle <laugh>

China were the best though <nukes>

I vaguely remember the first one, the Brotherhood of Nod were the bad guys and their leader was called Kane. Looked like Fabian Barthez <laugh>
