Then you're supporting the wrong club mate. Being a Newcastle fans requires you to be able to be skull ****ed senseless by the owner and the board, and also to be able to be mentally tortured by the press.

They both love to toy with the fans minds because they know we're one of the most passionate sets of fans in the country, so we're more likely to be effected by rumours and big decisions.

Just look at the Chris Hughton sacking, look at the reaction.

Says it all. We're not perfect, but we're their for our team in blood, sweat and tears, and have ambitions to be ****ing champions, and anyone who calls us deluded can **** off!

Actually Tash I'd like to support a club who don't sack their managers without good reason, and aren't subject to tabloid bullshit every other day

 

Chill out man! I just hate all the hearsay and would prefer clarity, and your wrong anyway, decisions are made quickly at nufc not many pple saw carroll going for 35 until it happened, no one saw houghton getting sacked, the fans get stressed because of the quick thoughtless decisions!!

I agree, on the whole the club do a good job of staying away from the media hype and hearsay until they have something to say. Pardew's announcement about a significant midfield signing this week being a bit of a departure from normal practice. It is the media that gets on my tits for their constant bullshit speculation that just gets hopes up only for them to keep crashing down.

But the club handles it ok on the whole.

I don't know to be honest. But it wouldn't surprise me if he had denied it because I thought the announcement was really out of character. I'm inclined to think the sunday sun story wasn't true.
