The problem with Goodwillie is:-

1. He is not a tallish target man, apparently he is only 5 foot 9 inches (mind you that is from wiki so it may be wrong)

2. He is awaiting his trial for a conviction of rape. yes he is innocent until proven guilty but do we want to fork out for someone who may be locked up for a good few years?

 

I will be surprised if its another big name/money signing especially if Wickham is staying can't see us playing 3 up front and why pay big money for a sub and why try to keep Wickham to only be a sub. Jewells jewells what do you know about Goodwillie i've not had much experience

I would imagine that this is something of a dilemna for PJ given the Wickham situation. Another big money signing of a striker may not be a course of action he would want to take if Wickham is staying. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some delay in announcing we have signed a new striker - at least until PJ has the facts to hand.
