I see no reason to doubt he's saying what he honestly believes. Medic, McLean, Schlupp and Jurasek all have an assist to their name this season. Schwartau is clearly capable of creating chances, likewise Gibbs (as witness his turn and through ball to Sargent last Saturday), likewise Makama. His finger is pointing elsewhere.

MA has stated " relegation is not an option" so he is not prepared to let things drift to relegation. January transfer window could be interesting if things do not improve on the pitch.

He would say that wouldn't he but he has also implied that Knapper and Manning are safe ' for the time being ' The transfer window opens in a couple of months time and between now and then we have the Christmas period and, after the next 3 games, an international break. If Knapper is still there when the international break ends it will mean, IMO, that we have either got good points out of the next 3 games( hopefully ) or, if not, he will still be here for the transfer window. At that stage, if we are still in the relegation zone, Sargent will want out, players will be reluctant to come here and Knapper has not got a good track record in the transfer market. I know that my pessimism is perhaps ' over the top ' but I've seen it all before.

I just can’t see any change being made until the summer at Sporting Director level, perhaps you could do it in February if we have a poor window

Frankly protests are embarrassing, we have little to complain about compared to some other clubs and the way they are run

My new theory is that Delia sold her soul to the devil for 5 years in the premier league in exchange for relegation the year after she steps down.

Wolves have sacked head coach Vitor Pereira after failing to win any of their 10 Premier League games this season.

A 3-0 defeat by Fulham on Saturday was Wolves' eighth of the top-flight campaign.

They are bottom of the table, eight points off safety.

Pereira took charge in December 2024 and signed a new three-year contract in September.

But a section of supporters turned on Pereira after the 3-2 loss to Burnley last week, when he was escorted away from heated discussions with fans after full-time at Molineux.

Are you sure Bure. He's not English so must be a good manager surely. That Ron "I'm English" Saunders was rubbish as well.

Will Still has become the latest Championship manager to be sacked. Just two Saints wins in 13 league games.
    P13 W2 D6 L5.

    Compared with our corresponding results...
    P13 - W2 - D2 - L9.

One is managing a team just relegated from the PL.

I'd have taken Will Still at the start of the season. He has a proven record in the top division in France.

    Even good managers can fail

It is dangerous and possibly misleading to compare European leagues but that won't stop me having a go. Still started his managerial career in Belgium at a fairly low level. IMO the top two Clubs in the top league in Belgium might survive in our championship with the rest competing in our Div 1. The lower leagues are about Div 2 level/National league at best. In France Still managed two Clubs. PSG and a couple of the other bigger Clubs would compete in our Premiership but the majority are Championship level at best including Lens and Reims. Still had a strange record at both - they would go on long unbeaten runs and, equally, long poor runs but I don't think he left either Club in a league higher position than he found them. He certainly showed promise and I wondered whether he would be considered for the City job when Thorup left. Southampton was a step up for him and it has not worked out and on that basis I would not want him to replace Manning. He has to improve a lot before being described as a good manager.

Only the top 2 in Belgium would survive in the Championship? Out of Union SG, Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Gent, Genk, STVV, Standard Liege - who is league 1 level?

I agree I don’t think he is an appointment we should be looking at either though. Can you imagine the fan uproar if we sack Manning only to appoint a manager with a similar record with an arguably better squad

Who is League 1 level - they all could be in a poor season!! Look at the squads. Look at how fortunes fluctuate. Look at average gates - none of them beat ours. Watch at least a game a week as I do and you will see what I mean
