What a bloody awful year for fans of Rovers and England.

We've had the ignominy of relegation, stadium delays and a hopeless Board of Directors. Just when you want England to lift your spirits, they end up being totally inept too.

After next Tuesday I don't want to see Gerard, Jagielka or Welbeck in an England shirt ever again. <grr>

Sorry but not bothered about England haven't had much interest in them since 1992 more worried The Gas back into the league. Don't know why people are so surprised about England again they're just a middle of the run team always have been always will be.

Not at all surprised - just disappointed that we can't even squeeze a point out of our first 2 fixtures. Hopeless bunch of overpaid prima donnas.

I think Roy needed to make the subs a lot earlier, there was just no tempo to our game. Barkley should have been in from the start for me. It's a poor job when you can't string a couple of passes together. Very poor night all round!

i was disappointed with lamberts contribution as well. he came on in the 85th min. not enough time to do much but when he was involved it wasnt great.

sterling was a disppointment last night. gerrard wasnt great at all which was the same against italy for me. i think wilshere should start next game in gerrards place.

welbeck was pants, i would like to see chamberlain take his place. jones or smalling to take jagielkas place.

draw for italy tonight vs costa rica and we are out. however its not over. either way, we need changes and a massive improvement in the 3rd game.

Nothing wrong with Wellbeck - had a great game against Italy. But I do think Glen Johnson's a hopeless full back and a great right sided midfielder awol in defence more often than not but gets in some great assists and goals...

What I don't understand is how England end up in easy qualifying groups all the time and stay well up in the FIFA rankings I mean playing nations like Andorra, Sesame Street and South East Lebanon United is hardly competitive that's maybe why they always get beat by the big boys when they get to the big tournaments as they just don't get any experience playing the better nations or maybe its because they're just useless bollocks :D
