Nice to see it mentioned, often feel our little run at the top gets forgotten . People bang on about Blackpool under Holloway and they didn’t do as good as we did
Our start was that good, that despite going on to only win 1 of the next 9, we were still in 6th after 18 games.
It was a wonderful start. What a shame that we won only 2 of the remaining 29 games that season! I think that meant we won 6 of our first 9 games as a top-flight club, and then just 8 of the next 67 by the end of the 2010 season when we went down again.
