As soon as I saw Itay upfront I thought this had draw written all over it. He's useless. I'd rather Moore start than Itay and I don't rate Moore much! Why DG isn't starting is beyond me. Even if he is going then surely he should play until he is no longer a Jack? Did anyone else watching in the box notice that after the final whistle the Jacks were singing 'we want you to stay' and DG shook his head? All told, Sunderland were poor and we lacked cutting edge. Two games against sunderland where I felt all three points were there for the taking this season. Bah. Sunderland do have some good players (Fletcher, Sessegnon, Johnson and the keeper have stood out for me in the games I've caught.) but like NJ says maybe MoN isn't the right man for them. He is a product of English football through the 70's and 80's and set's his teams up in the same way. The big difference now is that continental systems have proved more suitable for this division, leaving MoN behind. Well I guess that's for the Mackems to decide but I think they could do great things with a forward thinking manager (and no, you can't have Laudrup!)
