Today sees young Callum Roberts and Adam Campbell being loaned out to the Heed. Hope this works out for both and the Heed start to climb back up the table. I see the Heed are down in my town ( Nuneaton ) tomorrow so might go along if they are in the squad.
Hmm I think there was scope to involve Roberts while Aarons and Obertan were still out. Gouf has been ****e.
Campbell needs to be playing, so Gateshead might be a decent enough option if it can build his confidence. Still thinks it over for him here.
Agree that Roberts could had a few games with our current injury list. That said, a loan could do him good. What's happened to Campbell though? He looked promising over a year ago.
I think they are just putting Campbell in the shop window hoping for some sort of fee. He ain't gonna make it with us.
I remember one of his previous managers in Scotland saying he had an attitude problem and needed to sort his head out. Possible reason he was hardly picked.

Got plenty of games coming, with the cup run's they've had, could be a chance to bang some in for him.
Its good that Campbell is finally scoring goals. Perhaps its because he's now playing at a level more suited to his skills. Lets be honest, Premier League is beyond him.
Don't think anyone disagrees there, always thought he'd end up at Gateshead just came a couple of years quicker than I thought.
Hard to say where he will end up, he is only 20. Look at the likes of Wright, Ferdinand, Ricky Lambert, DJ Campbell etc. All ended up playing non league football/lower league and were in their 20's when they made the step. I wouldn't give up on him just yet. He has found his level for right now but it is funny the impact the habit of scoring goals can have on young strikers.
