17th place?

I wonder if the Jan transfer window will now reflect a strong desire for European football .
I'm totally relaxed re any thoughts of relegation ..next season we are Premier league !
Really hope Bournemouth stay up , they have immense team spirit .

I can't say I would be disappointed if the final table were the same as today's. It is about time Aston Villa had a spell outside of the big boys and the bottom three are the three teams that finished last season in the bottom 3 places above relegation so they can hardly complain.

 

I think we see from this that TD wants four wins to make sure we stay up and he is hoping for some joy in the next four.

I know we should lose the next four games according to Premiership history and theory. But who would have thought we would be going into the games 10 points ahead of one, 1 point ahead of another, just 1 point behind the third and only 7 points adrift of the best. We need to be careful not to get over confident but also to realise that other teams are playing these "giant" clubs.We need to believe in ourselves and give our best

Watched a bit of the Liverpool game and they peppered the WBA goal, but looked very suspect in defence. We could win our game against them, or get a battering.

I can tell you they're a happy bunch right now, but after yesterday I honestly don't think we're too far behind.
