I was fortunate to see England play Rest of World as part of 100 yrs celebration.

    I was 14yrs old,and my Dad won some tickets,in a raffle I think.

I still had the programme untill we moved house in 1984,then it went missing.

Any of you guys remember this game?

150 years of the FA, and they still haven't got a clue.

One nice touch from the FA is that they will be holding a special "Sir Bobby Robson" Day on 10th August! Well done to them for remembering such a great football man who transends all of football and who was above petty rivalries! My only gripe is that the FA seem to have completely forgotten about the greatest ever English Manager! <grr> There should also be a special day to remember the great Sir Alf Ramsey afterall he did win the World Cup!

I do indeed. From memory we beat ROTW by 2-1, I remember Greaves scored for us and King Denis for them. And our own Monty Norman was centre half for us.
Yes, we once did rule the world.
