It took me a read or two of this to get what you meant to be fair. And you're right, the 4 points taken off the two manc sides should have been bonus points, not part of the staple diet. If we had played as well against some of the teams around us you certainly would have seen us a lot higher in this league, Palace, Sunderland and perhaps WHU looked easier tasks where we could have increased our points tally. Our inability to take points from the mini league teams are why we are in the trouble we are in now, we should have no fear against the better teams in reality, it's against those we have played some of our best stuff. We have nothing to lose tomorrow and the same goes for ManU, anything from these games are bonus points, and as you say, we have already taken 4 off them.
The thing is, we've come up and we're talking about 'easy' games, which is not only arrogant from us, but stupid. There are no easy games - wake up.
I only used the term "easier" so It wasn't me being arrogant thankfully, can't see who said they were easy games though. However, if they are no easy games, then it stands that all are lose-able, consequently, by the same concept, all must be winnable, from the remaining games and taking one game at a time.
Stating the obvious is fine but the reality is if we do not win games we will be relegated and it no longer matters which games we win. If this was the last game of the season and we needed to win to stay up would we just resign ourselves to losing 5-0? The reality is we need to win this game. Anyone who thinks we can afford to lose the next two games and win 7 out of the last 15 is not being realistic in my view. We were crying out for the team to go out and try to win games and here we are willing to lose 5-0 before we kick a ball, good job we are not playing today then isn`t it. jck
jck... As I've said before, your optimistic outlook is (sort of) commendable. The team will not go down without a fight, certainly, and no doubt Ole has some sort of plan. And yes, of course, anything is possible - that's why we watch the game. If we were, by some miracle, to get a point, or, dare one wish, three, it would be the greatest result in forty years, but you need to face facts. This Man City team is brilliant. They do what's needed, plus they put teams to the sword. The reality is that the Bookies are almost always right. See what odds they're giving and put a tenner down on a Cardiff win and the drinks will be on you. Anyway, off to find a stream... to drown myself in.
