What, because some fans say one thing and another set of fans say something different = WE are contradicting ourselves <doh> For goodness sake, take any group of people and discuss nearly anything and there is likely to be contradictions in opinions.

If I said we should show replays etc then I would be contradicting myself but as I have not I am not. Someone else did, I am not accountable for their opinion :p

Good to see you lot have become more cocky since winning on Saturday, we thought you were all hibernating until May <laugh>

I will bide my time and watch Ipswich highlights and wait until that magic moment arrives, you know the one I mean. Where one of your players is treated harshly or an 'iffy' decision is made (in some opinions) and you start bitching about it <ok>

You have missed you perfect op in our match against Peterboro Thai, and you know i think i could count on one hand the number of town fans who used that as an excuse for us losing.

Yet, if your team would have been in the same situation we all know the outcome. A ref verbally abused on TV by your manager, Every Budgie fan crying like a 5 month old baby with nappy rash wanting the game replayed and a load of rattles being dumped out of prams. Anybody remember Reading away last year?

Sorry Guru, out of some respect I thought it best to stay away from your board following that game. I didn't want to start a row <ok>

Anybody remember Reading away last year? Happens to all teams and all supporters, not sure what your point is. Don't bother telling me or trying to explain. <ok>

I said they should use video tech NOT Thai and I DID NOT say give Ramires a booking I said for these things to be looked at and action taken where appropriate I never claimed he should have been booked, I wasn't there I didn't see it but it's this kind of situation where having this in place would stop the petty nasty bitching and possibly prevent diving in the first place

I think this has to be a record dave, one of my offerings attracting, to date, 65 replies, very gratifying indeed, even if we seem to have gotten off the track somewhat. :emoticon-0112-wonde

For what it´s worth, I´m very optimistic there will be at least 3 teams ( from Swansea, Blackburn, Wigan, QPR, W. Brom, Sunderland, and possibly more ) who fare worse than us this year, and Ipswich, I certainly wouldn´t rule them out of a top 6 finish, but I would still take any 6 of these ( Southampton, Brighton, W. Ham, Middlsbro, Derby, Leicester, Blackpool, Cardiff) to finish ahead of them.

Thai - you are saying if they'd seen it they should've booked him, which is nonsense.

So - you are contradicting yourself, all by yourself.

If he was seen to be simulating, by the officials at the time he went down - yes he should have been booked. How is that a contradiction? Think before you type <doh>
and why must you persist in moving away from the OP discussion?

Because Thai - and I think you misunderstand what simulation means - you say that he simulated and should be booked, you also say it was a foul, but yet somehow it wasnt a red card - and you say that all players will go down to get a pen in the right circumstances i.e. drawing a foul (which IMO isn't what happened here - that's something different to going down when you are being fouled).

I think there is a difference between what I am saying and what Thai is.I admit that the official would need to have a view of Ramire's simulation, without the benefit of slo-mo.Certainly at full speed it looked suspicious to me because he began to pivot around a point well before he reached Ruddy and then fell.It was a good-ish simulation, but a simulation nevertheless.

I don't think there is a problem over our attitude to Holt. Holt gets everywhere and his own robustness in the challenge invites retaliation. That is part of what my dad always called "The English Centre Forward" A tradiition graced by many with an abundance of strength and stamina and which a lot of defenders find difficult to counter. It's just a different style of play from the Latinos who always did rely on simulation as part of their game.

I think what Hampy is trying to say is that you boys like to have your cake and eat it. How anybody can say that it wasn't a foul or Red card is crazy. If it happened in the other area you lot would have been crying like babies if it wasn't given or the player wasn't sent off. For christ sake stop whinging about it!

Thankyou Guru - exactly. It is crazy because it's not even a borderline decision.

If you really must insist that you're hard done by then debate and whinge about the Torres one till the cows come home if you want - he should've been booked for that, but why there is any debate about this Ramires one is frankly beyond me.

Hampy, the budgies are so in love with themselves i'm surprised they haven't started a petition to give Grunt the goal of the season title already, never mind the fact that any sunday league striker could have finished it!

I admit i did have a chuckle to myself watching delia wet herself over it. Silly old soak hasn't the first clue!

A bit cryptic that one,to whom or what does it refer? Nothing you are likely to have seen at The Stadium of Gloom for the past three decades.
