Brilliant thats how not to win games give the oppostion 13 mins more time on the ball than we get Did SL seem genuine in what he said ? I think it was an extremely BRAVE EFFORT at concealing his anger at the situation i think the agenda going around in his head is probably need to be in 19th to 21st position by New Year or else. he did make a considerable effort to say that it is a management team thing that embraces the academy and backroom operation...........so.....maybe a D O F might be an option or drop him down to accomodate another manager ?
They had the ball longer because we kept giving it away - too many hopeful long balls. These long balls were obviously not part of the plan because DM was getting agitated with them every time they did it (I sit on the halfway line so could see)
If you send em out to knock it long the other team will have more of the ball. No point having an academy and loads of backroom staff trying to encourage kids to improve their technique if city are going to have thirty plus bought in contracted players who play like that.
Have to say Sunday was as bad as any game over the last four years. No backbone,No bottle,No Drive,NO passion,No interest.
WE need to stop the long ball, and start to draw them out......how long before Cunningham is back, and he really must have faith in Reid for at least the next 3 games win or lose at least we would know how good he is
