Hull City manager makes Bristol City admission following Ashton Gate humiliation Bristol City delivered their most brilliant and brutal attacking display of the season to thrash Shota Arveladze's side https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/hull-bristol-city-ashton-gate-7026512 'The victory means City are secured in 17th place on 55 points ahead of Saturday's trip to Huddersfield Town to close out the 2021/22 campaign. The Robins 62 goals - 42 scored by Weimann, Semenyo or Martin - is also their best goalscoring season since 2017/18.' Well done Nige, now the defence..
Slightly off thread here but I am watching Fulham vs Luton Town and it brought back a memory if I can still remember. Luton were allowed to sign an emergency goalkeeper due to circumstances and injuries so would I be correct in thinking that we did the same many years ago? I have this recollection that we signed a goalie for an away game at Carlisle which we won and the player in question never made it to Ashton Gate. Am I close? Back to the thread I think maybe Nigel has lined up his ducks for the chop and has new ducks in his sights for next season. We just have to hope that the overpaid and under performing are sent to other clubs, with some money being deposited, which will allow us some leeway in the purchasing department. If you read this Nigel we are all behind you and your endeavours to brighten our lives and prospects.
