Charlton Athletic v Wolverhampton Wanderers Match Thread

Pretty much what Ted said except I thought Jackson played quite well and Tucudean was even worse than terrible. Absolutely no cohesion whatsoever and Buyens was shocking. Saves us getting carried away I suppose but luck has to run out sometime. Oh and Bob, just so's y'know, Jordan cousins is not...

Is the drop in support a blip or a blop?

I had my enthusiasm blip last season when I gave up my ST and went pay as you go. I decided to renew this year as it was literally half price (my old seat in the east is now £525. I paid £250 early bird for front row west upper block K). The price point makes me feel like a pensioner, but I...

Charlton Athletic v Wolverhampton Wanderers Match Thread

First league game with the possible exception of Udders that on paper and on form we probably should win. So a bit of an acid test. Expect to see some changes as I'd be surprised to see Solly twice in three days and Gudmunson is probably crocked after aggravating his injury and taking one square...

    Scottish Independence imminent ?

Cheers guys. Yes, health wise I'm back on the go albeit after a second round of heart surgery in April. I won't be running many marathons but I'm still here and forever grateful to our advances in medical science and the good doctors and nurses who apply them. Passed my half century last week so...

    Scottish Independence imminent ?

#bettertogether :1980_boogie_down: We lost ybabobmij, who went to CL as Sillybilly, which leaves only me, but as I'm used to being surrounded by the Inglish, living with 3 of the buggers, that's OK. I'm still here Bill. I just got out of the habit of posting when it all went downhill...

    charlton in peace

Morrison is a good honest centre half. Played very well when we won league 1 but got a bit flaky last year and this in the championship. Not convinced he is at Celtic's level. Not as good as Wilson who you sold back to Forest. Would be cheap though. Out of contract at end of this season.

Zhi flattered to deceive for us. Had it all but rarely showed it. Had to sell him after we got relegated and had to start cutting the wage bill (unlike some other teams I could mention!)

Kitson didn't play last night so you are safe enough!

A very promising 18 year old holding midfielder (Cousins), a good creative mid fielder who us about 24 I think (Stephens) and a cracking left back (Wiggins) who was suspended last night. The rest are not up to SPL standard never mind champions league. Kermorgant is terrific but as I say is 32.

Hail hail bhoys. Been watching Charlton for the best part of 30 years since moving from Ayrshire. Just wondered who Neil was watching last night at our game with Oxford. He left when Yann Kermorgant, our best forward, was subbed but Yann is 32. Great player and he would be cheap but can't see...

    Oxford United v Charlton Athletic

Neil Lennon was there. Left after Kermorgant was subbed. I'd be surprised to be honest but I guess he's be cheap.

It's good to see Poyet on the bench. That said why the hell are we paying Gower a wage if he can't even make the bench for a game like this. Not one of CP's better ideas.

Palace have the largest squad in Europe

I reckon Pulis might just pull it off y'know. I can see Wet Sham, Fulham and Norwich/Cardiff going down.
