Match Day Thread Euro 2020 Final. Italy v England

My sentiments entirely. Rashford and Sancho should have been brought on at the beginning of the second half of extra time to get Match warming up and into the game. They are not exactly poor players. And asking the youngest member of the team to take the crucial last penalty was a mistake...

    RIP Chris Chilton

Fortunate to support the Tigers and see Chris Chilton and the rest of that team. It’s all been said about our legend. RIP Chris, and condolences to the family.

    Tigers' history

We had too, a great big square concrete shelter. Dad was a barge captain and always painting so he painted our name above the door. People I remember down Welwyn Park Avenue and Road were the Chinnerys, Gartons, Croziers and Wilmots. We has an Anderson shelter in Sculcoates Lane.

    Tigers' history

My parents and I were there in the 1940s and 1850s. Moved there in 1939 from Sculcoates Lane house that backed on to the power station ( now gone). I think that was a good move on the part of my mom and dad!

Off Topic The Ides Of March. It's 83 Up for Yardley Tiger.

A massive thank you to all who sent good wishes. I am honored to be the elder statesman of this Group. Because of COVID we have been marooned in the USA since September 2019. Not that we are not happy here in our village. We do miss all our friends and relatives in Hull and surrounding...

Number 47. One house off a ten foot. Went down recently and the ten foot was gated. Also one way system and you couldn’t enter from Beverley Road. Times change!

    Tigers' history

We were probably still living down Welwyn Park Avenue on Beverley Road which was on the edge of Hull in those days. Not sure BMB, my memory is nowhere as good as Mr BMB. Can hardly remember what I had for breakfast!
