Match Day Thread Sunderland AFC v Saudi FC - Sunday 14th December 2025 - KO 14:00

I listened to match of the day, not my favourite programme normally. The female presenter seemed to think showing the VISITORS as our opposition was petty. I thought it was hilarious and just reinforced the passion... on both sides. . about the Tyne derby.

We played some good football ..... until it came to hitting the goal and defending our goal. Disappointing.

Match Day Thread Sunderland AFC v Brentford FC - Saturday 30th August 2025 - KO 15:00

I suspect the atmosphere in the ground would have been earth shattering. I was at the west ham game and that was unbelievable. But todays come back surely beat even that. We kept fighting, brilliant.

Newcastle looked the most dangerous .... until THE GOAL. But Gordon's madness has destroyed their chances.

That Tottenham result at man city does put their win against Burnley into perspective. Tough game for us today.

That puts our home win against west ham into perspective. Tomorrow will be the real measure of where we are.
