    Sky poll prediction

    Thanks. It's been a while.

    Sky poll prediction

Charlton 8th - more likely to get relegated as is Barnsley predicted to finish 11th. Bristol City predicted to finish 7th is over optimistic and Middlesborough and Derby predicted to finish 9th and 10th respectively are underestimations of their likely finish in my view.

Match Day Thread Ipswich Town v Cardiff City

Bamba obviously wanted Christmas off so got deliberately sent off. That is how it sounded from the commentator on Sky.

    Junior Hoillett

Hoilett and the other two have not signed yet. They are having medicals today apparently. That explains the absence of club confirmation that they have signed.
  5. whoops

    Junior Hoillett

The last thing we need is another centre half. Incidentally Warnock confirmed on TalkSport this morning that he was only looking at signings and failed to confirm that Hoilett had actually signed. Hoilett was playing for Canada last night leading me to believe the signing is far from the done...

    Who next?

Talks being held with Warnock within the next 24 hours according to WOL. Warnock is the best available option for now as he at least will give us a greater chance of survival than the others mentioned.

We should no longer build our team around Whitts

I'm in a minority of one because I thought he was our best player on Saturday.

Are there three worse sides than City

When your side's top scorer is a defender from another club, when your best goalkeeper and second best goalkeepers are sold in favour of an untried replacement and when any player worth anything is clearly for sale then there is little hope for a successful season. When a side can't score the...

    Summer transfers

Strange one that. Apparently we turned down £900,000 for him from Preston earlier in the day.

    Summer transfers

Rhys Healey to Dundee on season long loan according to SSN.

    Financial losses

Until I saw these figures I thought QPR was far more of a basket case than us (£179m as opposed to our £174m) but clearly not.
  13. whoops

    Financial losses

Our net debt is stated as being £81m which surely can't be right. Even at this very low figure we appear to have the third highest net debt in the Championship behind QPR and Bolton and the third highest wages and salaries expenditure at £46m behind QPR and Fulham. Right or not the figures make...

    Forest - anyone about?

I thought Slade was a poor appointment - a bloke who had achieved nothing in his years of management. I had Slade being sacked by the end of August and here we are unbeaten and fifth in the Table. Early days I know but not many expected us to be anywhere but near the other end of the Table...

    Summer transfers

I would be more than happy with Ledley, Hennessy and Campbell but surely that would blow the wage reduction policy completely out of the window.
