It is worrying to hear that 19 year-olds are negotiating this hard for their deals. The lad has only made about 8 career league starts and is already above his station! We move on...

Where does everyone think we're going to end up come the end of the season? I've got hopes that we've learned something from the last time in the Championship and will be in a better position to survive, but realistically I can't see anything more than lower mid for us.

I wouldn't say no to Drinkwater or Ravel Morrison joining us, but they should not be coming to take the place of a permanent member of the team. Loan players need to be used carefully to augment the existing squad, provide cover and be used as impact substitutions.
