We need a quality second striker as Bony will be away at the African Cup of Nations for a significant period. Di Santo looks more like a third striker which we also need as Moore will be leaving.

Except that he is likely to be sitting on the bench for us I imagine. Like Tremmel in fact and Tremmel didn't cost us 6 million.

If he was played up front his strike rate should go up as it did for Ronaldo, Bale and others when they were moved inside. I'm thinking that if we are having difficulty bringing strikers in it may be due to their wage demands rather than the transfer fees and if so buying attacking midfielders...

Money is not everything, Dai, and ML has enough already I would have thought. I'm guessing that success as a manager is the main motivation for him and if he could get the degree of control that he has at Swansea at a bigger club then he may well go but that is a big if. I certainly don't see...

We need a good Patrick Viera type defensive midfielder, especially as Kemy is injured. Also a top quality striker if and when one becomes available at a reasonable price. Defensively I think we are covered at the moment.
