Daily Thread Saturday 5th April - Aintree Day 3 (Grand National Day)

My mistake. Fifth. Still got money as I did it with Paddy Power. Nothing worse than a jealous loser.

Daily Thread Saturday 5th April - Aintree Day 3 (Grand National Day)

1st and 4th, with Pineau Du Ray being my main bet. Was really took by how it stayed on at Cheltenham last time out, and the hurdles to National route always tends to be successful. It looked the winner from about 3 or 4 out. Just need Katgary to make a very good day an excellent, splendid day!

Patent on Trifolium, Unioniste and Katgary. Single on Katgary too. It seems that horses that have done well at Cheltenham are bringing their form to Aintree, and it is standing up to scrutiny. Katgary was all but the winner at Cheltenham, met a fair amount of interference, which, but for, it...

Cheltenham Day Three Daily Racing Thread

Felix Yonger (single) and in an e/w double with Benefficient. A few outsider I fancy to run well at big prices - Utopie Des Bordes, just a hunch, purely as it's a Henderson horse. Also fancy Tartak to run a big race in the 4:00. Maybe not to win, but to place. Off a competitive weight now and...

Valid point on the Arkle, but he gave Red Sherlock a bad ride. And on Azza, you could tell by 2 flights that it wouldn't win. Can't see why he tried to make all on it. A sitting duck from the start.

Just felt the need to say that Tom Scudamore is a really bad jockey.

Cheltenham day 2 racing daily thread

Smad Place, Faugheen, Balthazar King patent. Also, very intrigued by Dunguib in the Coral Cup. Another in the Coral Cup who I think could run well above it's price is Edgardo Sol. Nicholls' horses haven't been in great fettle on the first day, which puts me off a bit, but this horse tends to...

Superb. Mullins loves the opening day at Cheltenham.....must not get into the trap of blindly following him in the next few days....

Western Warhorse and Jezki both excelling in first time headgear. Art Of Logistics is first time headgear in the 5:15.
