Match Day Thread Sunderland AFC v Saudi FC - Sunday 14th December 2025 - KO 14:00

Yesterday really does reiterate the fact we have caught right up to this lot. Are we there yet? No, obviously not, they have vast riches but half a plan. We have a total blueprint on how to elevate the club. How to spend as much of what we earn without being penalised, what type of person we...

Match Day Thread Manchester City FC v Sunderland AFC - Saturday 6th December 2025 - KO 15:00

I personally would probably pop one of Sadiki or Xhaka on the bench for the City game, Xhaka being so important comes first. However, imagine the uproar it would cause.

Match Day Thread Liverpool FC v Sunderland AFC - Wednesday 3rd December 2025 - KO 20:15

Good post. I think a lot of your opinions in match threads can come across "us against them" im regards to Sunderland and the media, but you are absolutely correct. Its old cliche ****e from them. Its sort of like when us fans whip out the "typical Sunderland" jibe. It hasnt been typical...

I think a right winger to go with Traore and we are sound up till the point we can make a splash on someone that upgrades us elsewhere. I find it hard upgrading our current best team on paper.

Thats it mate, its all well and good saying Isak isnt worth 100 mill or, Jobe isnt worth 30 mill, it doesnt matter...what matters is who wants them and what theyre willing to spend! I think if we outdo ourselves this season and finish say...8th? You are talking probably 3 or 4 lads garnering...

    Off the field operations

I have just read, canny stuff. Think the scout stuff is quiet. Its a good source.

    Off the field operations

Dunno if anyone else has said this, but heard today that Ghisolfi has brought in at least 6 new first team scouts, already.

Its hyperbole mate, but that also can have a great effect, we have seen it so often, clubs overpay. I think if he was eligible for England then you'd get 40 no bother.

    Current Player Values

In terms of the fees I see some of our players leaving for, IF they can keep this up for the next 1 to 2 years... Roefs - 30-40 mill Sadiki - 50 - 80 mill Talbi - 40- 60 mill

    Current Player Values

If I went through the starting XI from Arsenal right now and valued them at their base value, simply rated by myself; Roefs - £25 mill Hume - £15 mill Ballard - £ 22 mill Geertruida - n/a Reinildo - £5 mill Mukiele - £26 mill Xhaka - £13 mill (priceless in reality) Sadiki - £30 mill Le Fee -...

    January Transfer Window 25/26

I backed FA Cup 100/1 at the beginning of the season, my dream was to survive relegation with a few games to spare and win it. Hope we get a straight forward 1st game. On signings, remember we wont just sign anyone, they've gotta want to come here and show a good and positive mentality.

Match Day Thread Sunderland AFC v Arsenal FC - Saturday 8th November 2025 - KO 17:30

Just magnificent isn't it? Another class point. I have had my reservations about Brian Brobbey, I feared we bought poorly as a last resort. In the past week or so it was revealed we went back in for him and he changed his mind because we are ****ing class basically. So today, he goes and...

Match Day Thread Sunderland AFC v Everton FC - Monday 3rd November 2025 - KO 20:00

Just to clarify what I think would've been better for us creatively, is to have two wingers on the pitch. Traore and N'Diaye showed how important it is to have good dribblers on the pitch. In tight games, they provide flashes that can win a game. I felt we only really had Traore capable of it...
