    Petition to change EFL governance

Thats the problem. The efl & fa are very quick to pass the buck and its not their problem. More stringent governance is needed to make them accountable for their decisions. We maynot reach 100k signatures, but each one signifies fans displeasure and puts them under more scrutiny. Loads more...

Thanks John. There are a lot of people behind the scenes working hard to keep the pressure on. I am just trying to get the mesage out there to help.

Just in... great news, long (but interesting) post Chris Matheson, who sits on the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) select committee, told Blackpool supporters he will introduce a private members’ bill on the issue. It comes in response to a petition set up by the Blackpool Supporters’...

    Petition to change EFL governance

That sir, is bang on. I do watch local games, just not my own team. I am under no illusion that the petition will actually reach 100,000 signatures so the govt. step in. But, it has put the EFL under pressure and made life uncomfortable for them already. The more signatures it gets...

    Petition to change EFL governance

"I do blame the fans, not the real fans, they probably amount to 3k...am i right...the rest were just plastics." As you quite rightly state, when BFC were doing well (even before promotion to the PL), the crowds did increase significantly - but is this not the same at any club in this position...

    Petition to change EFL governance

Oyston greeted Wonga with open arms - not the fans. The Oystons have a history of 'dealing with the devil' and we haven't gone bust, as the money from the PL etc never hit the football club. It was siphoned off to service the owners 'personal/other interests'. Quite literally, the only benefit...
