Why can't England pass the football?

I agree with you here yorkie, it's a mental issue. No doubting we have players with enough technical ability, they are just **** scared when they put on the England shirt. We're always playing safe because that's what we've been taught growing up (I'm 25 and was always told things like 'play...

Time to take off the blinkers...

You would expect us to be scoring reguarly via JET / Murphy at the back post but whenever we have the ball on the wings neither are making a run at the full back, JET especially needs to pull his finger out in this respect. With regards to Leadboots, my opinions were confirmed last night...

    Humble Pie

I will happily eat some humble pie but not for my comments on Clegg. If anything the fact that he has apparently acted on our advice suggests he doesn't know what he is doing. I'm eating the humble crumble for my comments on Tommy Smith. I was convinced he was useless a couple of months ago...

    Jet

JET's biggest problem is staying in the game for 90 minutes. He's so influential when he's involved but so often goes missing. Perhaps his team mates can help on that front by looking for him and not letting him drift out of games. QPR had a tactic of giving Taraabt the ball and making sure...

REFEREE Has made a rubbish decision

I played on a rock hard pitch at the wanderers ground, broke my arm on the pitch and played for another half hour and I'm paid f*** all to play football, don't see why the ref couldn't ask professionals who are paid a sh*t load of money to play on for another hour or so. I did not appreciate...

High earners on our wage bill

I'm not wasting my valuable support on people that aren't going to make it Seriously though, the guy craps himself everytime the ball is at his feet and when up against good movement he loses the plot. West Ham played to his strengths Good tackler though, not that that counts for anything...

High earners on our wage bill

As much as I love to support young players at Ipswich, Smith is not good enough

    PREMIER LEAGUE - Closed Shop

Simple solution, don't pay players ridiculous amounts of money That's what you feel FIFA are trying to get away from. Salary caps were obviously harder to implement than the financial fair play regulations. Given time I expect and hope that we will see an end to players earning hundreds of...

    Whatever happened to SIXTO PERALTA??

Loved reading that interview and pleasing to hear he wants to come back, get on it PJ! I've kept tabs on his career since he left Ipswich and he didn't have the best of times back in his home land, the River Plate fans really didn't rate him. Glad to hear he's happy now and enjoying his football.

High earners on our wage bill

No planning and no plan B, not good enough Pretty annoyed to hear no loans are imminent either, we are going to pay with another heavy loss if Smith remains in defence

    PREMIER LEAGUE - Closed Shop

I'm with you, I don't condone million/billion-aires pumping money into clubs to gain an unfair advantage but surely they can get around these regulations by sponsoring their own club, much like we and Man City are doing now. Just sponsor the club with your other business (ME or Etihad) for a...

    Sack Crappello....

Me too. I think we'd do better if we picked a team of Championship players rather than the Premiership knobeds. People like Terry, Lampard, Ferdinand just don't put in the effort when we play some of the smaller nations. Playing for your country at an international tournament should be...

    Sack Crappello....

Completely agree the England manager should be English but the only candidate I can see being anywhere near appointable is Alan Pardew Can't believe I'm saying that as I don't like the guy but what he's done at Newcastle has been a near miracle. He's shown good tactical awareness, plays good...

    Ipswich V West Ham

No question the midfield won it for us. Protected the back four well and brought the front three into the game. Never stopped running for 90 minutes. Shame Chopra couldn't do the same, he looks a bit out of shape but lively first half. ALB played very well also.
