WHO WILL BE THE NEW STRIKER ?

I'm personally not happy that our answer to the striker question is Paloschi (if he signs). He's better than Gomis but we need a striker that can hold up the ball and bring other players into the game... He's an out and out striker, but if he provides goals then I suppose that's good enough

Match Day Thread Everton v Swansea

we were really tepid. Everton probably deserved a point but Ash was absolutely immense... We need more fluency going forward if we want to keep winning games

Garry Monk: Welcome to the Real World .

Remembering Monk was undermined by Martin Morgan's shenanigans might remind you when the squad was happy, we were top half of the table. Take a dump on your team and that will happen. Why get rid of Dyer, when our back up right winger had a couple of sub appearances the year before? (Barrow...

    Off Topic Death Penalty

Give an already corrupt system the power to execute people? Sounds like a fantastic idea. Why not give them the power to bomb the living daylights out the middle east as well? Whoops, already done that... Moral of the story, don't give more power to despots... It fuels them. and yes, I think...

WHO WILL BE THE NEW STRIKER ?

If we don't buy a competent striker soon we only have ourselves to blame... Gomis was on his way out last summer and Salomon Rondon was coming in but Bafe's move to the Arabian peninsula collapsed. Rondon instead went to west brom... Twice the striker Gomis will ever be, and we didn't come through

    David Bowie

I don't give a damn if you're a male choir singer or a multinational rockstar, but if you can play 10 plus instruments, have a 4 octave vocal range and sound that good... I'm not old enough to fully appreciate but respect to where it's due. He made almost everyone else just look... well, average.

Shelvy, has he played his last game?

Touché. In other news... http://m.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/Swansea-City-prepared-sell-Jonjo-Shelvey-says/story-28504459-detail/story.html .... Death knell for Jonjo? I think so

Shelvy, has he played his last game?

seems like you can make a similar transfer if you wish. Shelvey is arrogant and incompetent, despite being supremely gifted he's a negative influence. The Jack Cork transfer shows there is value in the market, and £10mill for Shelvey is a respectable amount of profit. And deserves a better club...

Shelvy, has he played his last game?

Sell him. We bought an equally skilled and more consistent midfielder for £3mill in Jack Cork, who I think should be getting an extended run in the side... Gives Ki and Siggy more freedom in the middle, and £10mill towards a replacement for an impotent Gomis. Muriel fits the bill perfectly.

    Dagger in the back?

http://www.thesecretfootballer.com/articles/the-secret-footballer/29791/garry-monk-undermined-by-member-of-staff-at-swansea-city/ Not sure what to think of this. It hints at someone in particular (likely a friend of someone touted to be the next Swansea manager) but I'll hold my tongue until I...

    So,it's official...

A few things separate Swansea and Cardiff... 26 places in the football league, overall quality of football, worldwide audience, top class coaching and youth facilities, sponsorship, a decent business plan and boardroom staff, tv revenue, masses of debt... and from the look of things, stadium...
