    Match Day Thread Wolves (A) - 09/11 @ 15:00 - Libby's treble FUN match fred

That was easily our worst performance of the season. Wolves did a fantastic job at shutting the game down but we seemingly had 0 gameplan after the second goal and looked completely shellshocked. Don't think I can watch anymore Saints under this absolute depressing system Martin has us playing...

Someone should have a quiet word with Martin just to check in with him and make sure he knows what the giant pole is with the big net

Mate we've scored 7 goals all season. A shot on target is cause for optimism<laugh>

Martin needs to go. We need a manager with PL experience and realistic expectations on how to approach games with our weak squad. This possession nonsense is seeing us get decimated every week.

We're Sports Republic. But we're one of those weird republics in the Carribean that sells bananas.

I still can't believe we somehow convinced Ramsdale to sign for us. He probably can't believe he signed for us either.

I played a couple hours of Football Manager 2014. I reckon give me a crack as the interim. Can't be any worse than Jones or Martin.

I utterly loathe Martin's system. Reckon if we tell Ralph we're really really sorry and we really really mean it he'll come back?

I said at the start of the season I wasn't convinced his system would work in the PL and I'm yet to be proven wrong. He has a system and he sticks with it thick and thin. However this makes us so easy to predict by other teams, our backline is by far the worst in the PL and teams seem to have us...

7 matches, 6 losses, 4 goals. How the heck are we not bottom of the table <laugh> Poor Wolves.

I know we're playing a very good Arsenal team, but we don't look like we have a ****ing clue what to do. Just frantically chasing shadows around the pitch.

Problem with Martin he proudly boasts his commitment to his system, even when things aren't working he still commits. I saw a post from a Swansea fan on reddit when we first signed him basically outlining what to expect, we'll start slow and lose a bunch of games and it'll be all 'doom' and then...

most expensive goal we've ever scored.

first 30 minutes we were incredible. My only comment would be how could we play that well and have that much possession (80% at one point?) and NOT score? This second half we were so flat and lacked urgency, you'd think we were playing for a draw and not 2-0 down at home.
