    Unless they have a highlights program on a free-to-air channel, the only watching of F1 that I'll be doing will be the end of season highlights dvd. Sky might get more people watch the F1 channel if they were to offer it separately (on Virgin as well), at a sensible price

    My gut feeling is that any deal for VW to buy out Red Bull will be dead in the water, at least until all of the fallout from emissions-gate is sorted out. If Honda do pull out at the end of the season or next year, will Mclaren go back to using merc engines?

    That could probably be overcome by "interlocking" the mechanism that opens the fuel flap with the ERS so that if the ERS isn't in a "safe" state, the fuel flap won't open

    RIP Jules Bianchi

    Trouble with bring out the safety car to recover any stranded car, doesn't that cause drivers to loose a load of temperature from their tyres, giving them a greatly increased risk of spinning off, so risking another crash?
