We had nowhere near 40k in Roker that season mind. Biggest crowd was less than 30k against Northampton. We couldn't fit 40k in Roker by then

Not denying they were poor but they aren't helped by playing different positions every week. Being expected to play the same each game when you aren't in the same position will be pretty hard.

He was hopeless in the games he did play and when Macfadzean came back in for him he looked far better.

It's hard to bench someone when we don't have any other strikers. O'Brien tries but isn't really a striker and the only other one we have has been injured since we signed him

They keep mentioning one change from the last game but we've managed to make about 6 or 7 changes at the same time by playing players in different positions.
