Out of interest St Mirren just won 6-0 in the Scottish League Cup. It was against a side that is now 2 divisions below them but it doesn't give the impression that they are clueless now that Jack Ross has left. I'm even more optimistic for next week and the start of the new season. Bring it on.

Well last years pre-season outing against a (better) SPL team ended in a drubbing and gave an indicator of the season ahead. Here's hoping that this one is just as good an omen for what to expect this time round.
