The bottom line is we needed a left footed CB to increase the depth of the squad in that area, and we now have one until January when the window re-opens. NC is clearly not willing to pay over the odds for a player just because the fans want a big name signing. I'm glad he's waiting til January...

It would be a step backwards for the squad to let him back in as far as I'm concerned. Our dressing room spirit is what sets us apart from many other clubs from what I've seen from player interviews. No individual is worth risking that.

Saints are already well into their season and most of our midfield and strike force are already off the mark. Two away wins out of two as well. The whole sqaud should be rested up from last Saturday as well. Leicester have the pressure of expection upon them and have yet to pick up a home win...
