Hull Daily Mail have contacted me and are looking into it. Not that anything will be done about it but it seems a bit hush hush and underhanded at this late stage. Even comments on City's Facebook page about it have been removed -

Agreed, why give fans a choice just to move them when it suits, especially to poorer seats/sections. You'd probably get better seats if bought today rather than on the first day of sale as ours were. -

I've been moved from 507 in the corner to the opposite corner. Seems a bit odd that I would be move from here if it's those near the half way line being moved to make way for extra Wednesday fans
