did Mark Hughes effectively get sacked after our match at Man City? I know he stayed for a few games after we played them but I remember hearing that his fate was sealed after our game against them. -

The other manager who got sacked after playing us was Peter Taylor who got the sack after we drew 1-1 at Selhurst Park. Add that to Simpson, Cotterill, Scolari, Megson, and now Boothroyd. -

Ronaldo retires ( the original one)
I remember seeing him in Germany during the World Cup and although he was getting older, he was still a great player to watch. Scored his record 15th world cup goal in that game too, very good player indeed. -

Free kick fail
just as bad as Anthony Gerrard trying to take a free kick earlier this year and having the ball bounce off his foot as he placed the ball...and then taking the kick and blasting it over the bar. why was a centre half taking a free kick?
