    Colo still wants out

It's closer for me. And the weather's better!

    Colo still wants out

I'll be devastated. It was Coloccini that led me to Newcastle United. Now I'm a dyed-in-the-wool fan, but it will be very strange without him. I'll be crying into my Brown Ale during every Colo-less game, but no way am I abandoning NUFC for San Lorenzo!!

    Colo still wants out

Again? It doesn't help the team or the fans to hear how desperately their captain wants to go. Better to say nothing and make his plans in private. This public whinging is demoralising.

Pardew's tactics- my thoughts on the game

YES! Somebody talking sense. I am SO tired of the "Pardew's Gotta Go" mantra. Does anybody really think it's that simple? That we just change the manager and players who clearly don't give a rat's patootie will suddenly play like Messi out of love for the new manager? When are the players...

We lack inspiration and a captain figure

My sentiments exactly. I'm not expecting miracles, but with Coloccini back I believe we will see a difference. There are many variables involved in the team's increasingly abysmal performances, but I think Colo's absence has been huge. I said months ago that when he was not playing, the...

I think we need to bring Coloccini back for the last few games

I've been MIA for a while so haven't kept up with the forum, but have been saying this (above) almost daily! Agree 100%!!

Oh Lord, it's worse than I thought. Obertan's starting. <yikes>

Cisse you legend! How relieved are you?

What's his appearance got to do with it? Do you have to be so unpleasant?

Colo out for up to 7 weeks with broken back.

Oh Freddd, if you're going to be sensible about this, you'll spoil all my fun! I don't doubt that he has a sore back and would not suggest that the club has "faked X-rays" etc. But do you not find it strange that his injury was played down a number of times before it officially became a...

Colo out for up to 7 weeks with broken back.

I was wondering how he coped with sitting on a plane to Argentina for 15 hours. I guess you just have to put up with that sort of discomfort in order to get to a country that has medical facilities. :emoticon-0105-wink: (I really must stop being sarcastic. It's very unattractive........)

Coloccini at San Lorenzo reserve game on Sunday. Hope that uncomfortable chair isn't hurting his poor broken back. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Colo out for up to 7 weeks with broken back.

Yes, incredibly convenient. And isn't it odd that it took the best part of a fortnight to find out he had broken bones? I'm just an ordinary little nobody, but I would have an X-ray immediately if had a back injury. Wouldn't you think the club would organise an X-ray for their captain who's...
