Somerset have played very well to make a real game of it at Edgebaston. Now its up to our lot to bowl and field like never before to tale 6 Lancs wickets to win the CC. Id say the odds are slightly against them doing so but its gonna be some session. And thats just reading Toms posts !

What is your opinion on Stuijks tackle Tom ? Was driving down M1 at the time and listening to it on car radio so havnt actually seen it, although it resulted in a bad injury for the young lad most seemed to be saying that the tackle wasnt a red card offence.

My thoughts also ! Not sure who the bbc commentator for our game was but his whole attitude to Saints seemed distinctly low key whilst wetting himself regarding anything the Geordies did. And as you say the reaction to the two goals within a couple of minutes was so marked. Tosser !

    CONFIRMED: Saints sign Adam Armstrong

Spike ! what a player he was, that team was just dynamite and Spike was one of the main men. The amount of goals scored and the quality of the goals was just outstanding.

    Match Day Thread EURO 2020(1?)

We all have our opinions, and as Saints fans obviously we would all like to see Ward-Prowse selected, but at the end of the day Gareth Southgate and his team will decide. They have access to all the data and info, we know nothing. How on earth could Alf Ramsay leave Jimmy Greaves out of his...

Hmm, and what if the cleaner Julie was doing a below par job and it was manager Julie's job to pull her up about it ? This sort of stuff in the media is not always the full story.

    Saints v Watford - Sat 30 Nov - 17.30

I know, crazy ! One chap going home on the Hythe ferry after the game said that he couldnt stand it and left before half time and went to a pub and watched it on tv !! Just dont get the logic in that at all after paying for a ticket. Never left a game before the final whistle in my life...

    Saints v Watford - Sat 30 Nov - 17.30

What a cold and miserable place St Marys was last night, for 70 odd minutes then it started to warm up and by the time the final whistle went it was positively flipping tropical ! Hoping for more of the warm stuff on Wednesday evening.

Yes thats Trescothick, he couldnt handle touring as he got terribly homesick and it affected him really badly apparently. But what a batsman and and an all round fabulous cricketer. Me and my son were watching the Somerset v Essex game on tv when it drew to a conclusion late today and we both...

Congrats to Essex on winning the double. Pity about the weather this week, but Essex has only lost once all season so they probably deserve the county championship, certainly helped by having no international players so could maintain a settled team. Well pleased with us managing 3rd, best...
