    It was Bobby Collins first game as manager. John Kaye had been sacked the Saturday before after a 2-0 home loss to Mansfield. I remember it well, as it was the first game my parents had allowed me to go to without my Dad - note allowed, I'd sneaked away to get into a few before then!
