    WOW WOW SOMETHING HAPPENING

http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1042347981?-1007:836:most_read_top. Oh my word. Is there anyone apart from MA and SL who actually thinks this would move us to the next level that LJ couldn't reach? L1 here we come. Back to being a yoyo club where SL seems comfortable.

    WOW WOW SOMETHING HAPPENING

If he says no he could basically be making himself unemployed. If he says yes then he'll be on good money, with the prospect of a big payout when he inevitably gets sacked. I would be surprised if he turned down a chance he is unlikely to get anywhere else.

    WOW WOW SOMETHING HAPPENING

Un... Frigging.... Believable. It seems everything that's been said about SL being a control freak who only employs Yes men is true after all. I had always had more trust in him than that but this, if true, is the final straw.

    LJ to Watford?

Isn't it a bit early to be sticking the boot into the Lansdowns? Perhaps we should at least wait until we see who gets the job. This is all just press speculation at the moment.

Do We Really Want Steve Gerrard?

He got them to the play off final. That's as good as any manager we've had since the 1980s. If Gerrard got that close in one season I would be happy with that!

Do We Really Want Steve Gerrard?

If Mr Lansdown finds it an exciting way to spend his money then that's what we'll get. I too would go for Hughton but I can see Gerrard might generate a lot of press and Lampard did ok at Derby due to his contacts and top quality loans.

    He’s gone

I'm a bit sad that LJ didn't work out but he had to go. My bruv who has supported city for over 40 years wouldn't go to games until he'd gone. So at least when the ground reopens we will be able to go to games together again. I hope SL goes for an experienced manager this time who will command...

Johnson No Show at Pre Match Press Conference.

Let's hope it was because they've been told they're out and were off job hunting.

    It's started........

Seems to me they need to review the automatic points deduction rules. They were designed to stop clubs being poorly run and over spending. These are exceptional times and can you blame clubs who get caught by unforeseen circumstances?

    LJ TO Burnley

Didn't Dean Smith manage Walsall when Cotterill's city team demolished them on a regular basis? I'm not sure about him and whether he just got lucky joining Brentford. Anyone can look good with the quality recruitement team they've had there recently.

Should Lee be in charge next season?

We may have missed our chance if we get rid of LJ this summer. Can see the club having to tighten up on spending due to Covid and a big drop in player valuations. A new manager is unlikely to get the luxury LJ has had to splash on players - most of whom are apparently untrustworthy. We should...

    Back to it Monday

Palmer has been way out of form the last few times he was given a chance. Will be interesting to see how Johnson deals with having four fit strikers and who gets left out.

Plans for a Championship Salary Cap.

According to the Sunday Times he's let £370 million slip out a hole in his pocket this year. However rich you are that must make you stop and think about economising!

OVER & under 70'S THREAD ....inc: BCFC NOT 606 PUB BAR news

I do feel that the government are in an impossible dilemma too. No certainty of a vaccine and it could be over a year if one ever does arrive. People won't stay in lockdown indefinitely so things have to change, regardless of the economy. The only option seems to be letting the majority get...

'A Disaster' - West Bromwich Albion Boss Gives Opinion

Thanks for posting this which as you say is very interesting. My view all along was that the lockdown was a mistake and we initially had the right policy but Boris panicked in the face of the UCL advice. I suspect his view that it will turn out pretty much the same everywhere, regardless of how...
