    Australian Open 2016

I predict the usual suspects to win it. Djokovic for the men and Williams for the women. Djokovic had his "poxy" match against Simon, he will improve. Can't see anyone stopping him. Murray or Fed will have to improve big time to prevent another title. Same story for the women, Serena will...

    PDC World Champs

I think that the two best players have made the final. I think it'll be close - Lewis pipped Anderson last time 7-5 and Gary was favourite to win. Now it's the same finalists 4 years on. Can see it going either way by no worse than 7-4.

    Gatland's Plan "B"

All Blacks all the way. Only other teams with a shot are the Boks, the Aussies, and Ireland as an outside bet. Sorry but England aren't good enough - they played well but they should've gone for tries when the Welsh gave away a pen. The media, and the commentators kept chewing the fat saying...

    World Championship final 2015

So it's Shaun Murphy versus Stuart Bingham. Predictions please. My take is that Shaun has to be the favourite as he's been to the final before and won it. I don't think that it will be a thrashing and Stuart will give us a good match, but Shaun wins 18-14.

PDC World Championship 2015. Who will win?

Anderson was fab last night and punished MVG when he made mistakes. Taylor was off in patches but Barney faltered after hauling himself back into the game. Of course Phil Taylor then ruthlessly punished Barney when he hit a poor score. For the final, if Gary Anderson plays like he did last...

PDC World Championship 2015. Who will win?

So the PDC World Championship starts tomorrow night, so who do you think will prevail on New Years Day? I have a gut feeling that the Power isn't finished yet and will win it again. Thoughts?

World Championship 2014 Quarterfinals and Beyond

Have to agree with that sentiment. Ronnie in truth hasn't been at his absolute best. He's played well in flashes and being brutally honest, Joe Perry should have beaten him in the second round. Maybe he didn't believe he could finish the job - that I'll never know. Frankly, Shawn and Barry...

World Championship 2014 Quarterfinals and Beyond

Well, well.... I was wrong about the scores that Ronnie, Barry, and Mark. I thought Shawn would have given Ronnie a game but either Ronnie played great, Shawn poorly, or a combination. I was right that Mark would win convincingly. Neil Robertson played well to get past Judd Trump. Thought it...

World Championship 2014 Quarterfinals and Beyond

Here is my take on the quarters: Neil Robertson v Judd Trump This should be a great match and I can see a lot of heavy scoring. Unless one of them has a really poor day, I think this match will be very close. I think that Robertson has the slight edge and will take it 13-12. Mark Selby...

    The Aussie Open

Roger deserved to win as he was the better player on the day. Andy didn't give up and almost took it the distance but to be fair, we weren't sure how Andy would fare after the back surgery. Andy needs to dust himself down, maybe take a short break, then start again at Indian Wells. Andy...

    The Aussie Open

Well, well.... Djokovic is out. So it looks as if winner is now going to be either Roger Federer, Andy Murray, or Rafael Nadal. However, don't count out Stan or Thomas being a surprise winner folks...

    The Aussie Open

Fed has won in straight sets. Andy will have to beat Fed, Nadal and Djokovic to win title. If Fed brings his prime form, Andy will be in trouble. I'm cautiously going for Andy to win in 4 or 5.

    The Aussie Open

Good luck to Andy tomorrow. This is the real start of the tourney now. If he gets past the lucky loser he will have his first real test in the form of Roger Federer. Whilst Roger isn't consistently playing the tennis of his prime, he is not to be written off. I would say that Andy is the...

    The Aussie Open

As for the ladies I hope Serena doesn't win it as she comes across as arrogant and she never credits her opponents if they beat her.

    The Aussie Open

I think either Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic will win it for the men. I'd love it if Andy Murray can win it and he's got the tools, but he's not match sharp enough. Semis for Andy at a push as it's too soon for him.
