    The Goodbye Duchatelet Thread

I know of one NDA signed and assume everyone else must have signed them too. That was signed only three weeks ago. Perhaps previous mis-information had led everyone to believe matters are a long way down the track whereas in fact it has only just begun?

    The Goodbye Duchatelet Thread

I sound like one of those horrors who make their lives feel important by masquerading as someone 'in the know! . Sorry but I do need to take care.

    The Goodbye Duchatelet Thread

Hello folks. It's so long since I've participated here many/most of you won't have come across me before, if you pardon the expression. Being several thousand miles away and not getting to games (although I was at the fun-fest v The Wombles on Saturday) I tend to think I'd have a damn cheek...

    Ray Treacy

Oh dear how sad. The player I remember the most from my earliest days at The Valley, and so one of favourites ever. I hope he had a good life after football.

Match Day Thread Charlton vs Millwall

Shockin, juss shockin. Still.....not a division in it for us of course. Mafi mushkila, as we say in these here parts.

    How did that happen?

I remember that 2-2 game vividly. 40-ish years later and I am STILL blaming myself for the result. Despite my knowing the usual consequences of such actions.......at 2-0 with a couple of minutes to go.......I could contain myself no longer and started.......yes......gloating! After their...

    Your Greatest Eleven

Nice one Ponders. Based on those players I was excited to watch and/or admired, rather than those that would necessarily be the best we've had in that position........ Graham Tutt - (very short career of course but I recall, as a kid, being so excited about him already being talked about...

12 months on - Duchatelet Delustionists- compare line ups

In answer to the original post, the side looks a fair bit stronger on paper to me although I admit I have not seen it in action yet. As to the rest of it......how boring.

    Bikey

Boys and girls why don't you just go and watch the football (he says from 3000 miles away), all this angst, sarcasm and 'wit' is just really boring. Stop pretending you know more about football than you really do and more about football than those involved......delusions of grandeur and a sign...

Nottingham Forest v Charlton Athletic Match Thread

Eddie....you have been, like so many, sadly mis-informed. Both the pub, the leaf, and all forms of illicit paid entertainment....are freely available....and...as it is 8pm here....I may have had a glass or two of optimism! :bandit::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:
