Promotion just the start of the journey ..... LCFC chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha

As long as we can consolidate and get through the first season, who's to say where we could end up? Great owner, great manager and staff...oo-err

Pontus Kamark thinks we can survive in the Premier league ...

And some very shrewd comments from Pontus.

Kasper is hot property - a bit worrying this

It's started and we haven't even got the trophy yet. I suppose though as we want to be linked with top quality players we have to accept that other teams will be linked with ours.

    Championes, Championes, Ole Ole Ole

Oh bloody hell, thanks for that reminder.<doh> I'm fairly confident NP has the know how to steer us to safety.

    Team V Bolton

Just what I thought! Pearson hasn't spent big money, he just played about with the squad who faltered last year, galvanised them and added one or two significant new players, The trouble is, Leicester now have this reputation of being a big spending club. Unfair.

Which of our players will step up next season ...

Can't help wondering if Schlupp is ready to step up as a striker now. His pace and ball control are very good. Is he the illusive extra striker we need? Especially as everyone agrees we need a new left back.

    Congratulations

As long as they don't play the post horn gallop too loud - some of our boys will still have tender heads after the weekend.

    Wigan (A)

Yes, you can see why he rotated, and yes it was a gamble to make six changes. Quite ironic that despite some wobbles this team kept the record going and got a point away at one of the league's best teams. In a sense it was a 'spare' game, and a loss would not have impacted our destiny...

    2 more points for Liverpool

I hate them because my son grew up when ManU were at the very top. He was 7 or 8 when they won the treble, and all the other kids who jumped on the UTD bandwagon would taunt him at school because he supported Leicester (to be like his dad). It really got him down even though he was the only boy...

    David Nugent hits 20 goals

I know we can get a bit dismissive of goal tallies that include alot of penalties, but I always think that's unfair. This is a real specialist goal, and it isn't a coincidence that so many top strikers don't take penos. It requires the sort of steely nerve that isn't needed normally, so we...

    The official 14 point countdown

When QPR, Burnley and lcfc were pulling away early in the season I remember thinking how well we had done and yet still couldn't break the top 2. Everyone had a sneaky suspicion that it would be Burnley who eventually fell away. If not them, then it would be us. Hahahahahahhahaha, oh mercy!

Gary Taylor-Fletcher targets 17 more pies (oops points) for promotion ...

Maybe. Looking at Reading after the same number of games, they had 86 points. As for Newcastle when they reached 102 points, they had 76 points at this stage. Maybe 100 points isn't asking too much, but 107!

Wes - Premier League ... "within our grasp"

Found this thread from the start of the season. All the predictions...and not one mention of Burnley. Otherwise, some interesting and accurate predictions. Not much faith in LCFC :emoticon-0104-surpr http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/222561-Favourites-to-go-up

    One game at a time.

I think it was on Boxing Day when we hit the top. We beat Reading I think.
