Oh I agree, but it just shows you what we are up against when the Man City group come along and recruit one of ours. There will be a lot of competition. Then again it's a compliment to our initial recruitment, hope we can do it again.

Well that Bournemouth fixture will cause my lad a load of bother, he have to go down Friday evening now. Don't think he would fancy catching a train out of Durham at 5 o'clock in the morning.

It will an interesting one. Does the club at this early stage go out and get someone in who's done it all and is at a high level or someone doing a good job but with potential to improve. Or do we promote from within. I shall be watching with interest.

Neil is 24 now, I think the tribunal system is more applicable to academy lads, but admit I'm not sure on that and happy to be corrected

Think those figures are a bit optimistic mate Neil can sign a pre contract agreement in January and leave at the end of the season. We may sell for minimal fee in January but given the way his agent has conducted negotiations I don't see the agent agreeing to that.
