No idea what is going on with British racing but Ascot puts on a Graduation Chase with about 45 grand prize money and it attracts just 3 runners, 2 of them from Ireland. Absolutely pathetic. I just can't get my head round that, bonkers.

Have to say Gordon Elliott is in tremendous form this season and, whilst he does throw a lot of arrows, he has had 105 winners already. He probably can't compete with Mullins for the Irish trainers championship (due to the number of horse capable of winning Grade 1 prize money in Closutton) but...
