I would have thought that MH was looking to strengthen in this area anyway but perhaps he was looking to get Samba in January but that shambles has made him panic slightly and Dawson became available at the right time. I don't believe he would have been considered as a potential buy this time...

TF declined the opportunity to confirm done deal on SSN apparently, just said he is one of a number being looked at..
