    New Boy Signs

We can't afford £30/40 million pound players so I think Monk is right to take a punt on younger players with something to prove in the hope we can find an uncut diamond. As stated if they don't make it when on loan we send them back e.g. Vasquez.

    New Boy Signs

Fits Monk's desire to sign players with something to prove rather than older players looking for a final payday

There's a match involving the Swans today

Paul Merson has just said on Sky Sports that he can't see Hull scoring. So that's the kiss of death!

    NSR...Lagoon

There has been investment in Swansea but nowhere near the scale that Cardiff has received. I don't agree that lack of inward investment is totally the fault of the council but needs to be blamed on the Cardiff bias of the Welsh Assembly.

    NSR...Lagoon

The problem as stated with the city centre is lack of investment. The difference between us and the Cardiff region is that the Welsh Assembly and the National Government invest millions in Cardiff whereas our council have to raise their own investment. This is why they are now looking to sell...

    Bony to Man City?

Aguero will be back by the end of ANC and so I don't think Man City would be interested. The only other teams in the UK he may be interested in are Man Utd and Chelsea and both of those are well blessed with attacking players at the moment.

    January Transfer Rumours

He would fit in with Monk's desire to have young ambitious players and an area where there will be an opportunity in the not too distant future. Leo Baptistao, Nelson Oliveira and Joel Campbell all of whom we are being linked to could have similar ambitions and be the striker we need to sign in...

    Britton vs West Ham...

Next season Leon and Angel will be another year older they will inevitably be getting slower and due to tear and wear they will no longer be at the fitness level required be able to play for a full season. Between now and the start of next season we will need to have their replacements on board...

    Britton vs West Ham...

Anno Domini catches up with us all as I am finding out with my hill walking. Leon, Angel and Ash have been great for us but I think we have to look at reolacements for Leon and Angel for next season whilst I think Ash has another 2 to 3 left. I appreciate what they have all brought to the club...

    Monk the magnificent

Jazz is not too bad a player but has to turn inside all the time because he is too right footed to play left back.

Predictions for today. Swansea v West ham.

This not apportioning blame just a comment, I think Jazz is too right footed to be a left back. I did not think he handled the ball as it was ball to arm rather than arm to ball. Even allowing for the sending off we were second best for most of the game.

    Taylor

I would like to see Jazz allowed to concentrate at right back as I don't think it is fair on him to keep switching him about.

    Taylor

He was obviously signed for the future but why not give Kingsley a go and sub him if it's not working out.

    Our fullback "Problem"

Modern full backs have to be quick and I wonder whether Amat has the pace for this position. Might be considered more as a defensive midfielder. Yankee mentioned development and I think Tiendalli is past that stage.

    NSR...Lagoon

Yes! Far better than spoiling our hills with inefficient wind farms.
