    Michu Return??

Heard nothing from Michu the whole time Monk was in charge, within weeks of him sacked Michu is breaking radio silence and talking about how he would love to return. I think that says a lot about how Monk was regarded by some .

    Dyer

Make no mistake, the off field goings on coupled with Monk trying to re invent the wheel and believing his own hype has culminated in an almost disasterous premier league season for the Swans. Morgan has undone 10yrs of hard off field work, Monk has undone 8 yrs of style, ethos, technique and...

Monk - A Bigger Job Than We Realise?

Monk - A Bigger Job Than We Realise?

Monk IMO has regressed our playing style and football with the most expensively assembled group of players in the clubs History, thats quite some feat fair play. The football is going backwards, his constant deflection of blame onto his own players is probably starting to make a few...

Jazz to be replaced by Taylor if only for the fact ive yet to see him move beyond his winger to create space, though in fairness today there wasn't much chance to do that . I like Jazz though, just feel he has been a bit left behind over the last few seasons. <cheers>

    Monk the magnificent

Yes Jazz passsed the ball well...but passed it backwards all the time!! This was making life easy for West Ham in terms of closing down our space. I do however agree about Jazz to a certain degree, he was a good prospect for us but i feel he will never progress in our team and needs to go on...

    Monk the magnificent

I think most would agree that the full back spots needed work in the summer, we have been lucky with Rangel this season in that Monk has appeared to cut his exposure in going up and down, leaving him some gas in the tank to actually defend! i don't think i have ever seen Rangel give away so...

Agree. There will be times to play leon but today IMO certainly wasn't one of them!

    Monk the magnificent

Well that is true but i think we have all seen over the last few seasons that leon away at West Ham isn't the best option, shelvey would have worked better IMO if only because Leon is still getting into top gear and tactically we didn't look like we were going there to pass them to death...

    Monk the magnificent

I don't think Southampton have been out of the top 4 but i wont be backing them for a champions league place. Positions in the league mean fook all at this point in time, something you were reminding us of when Laudrup had us in 9th . As for Monk doing a fantastic job, i think he is doing...

    Monk the magnificent

Leon should never have been playing in that today, big mistake from Monk there IMO. We needed strength and height especially as we played zero football for 90 mins! It was all a bit strange really, i was not sure what Monk was trying to achieve tactically . We all knew it would hoof ball ariel...

    Monk the magnificent

It aint rocket science when it comes to playing West Ham, man mark carroll and that will help, we had rangel on him ffs! then he was totally free for the second goal! Bartley played like a captain today, was the only defender to come out of that with his head held high IMO. It was a bit of a...

    Monk the magnificent

I think Monk has done a decent job but im still not sure 100% on the appointment. What i have always said is that Monk will always give 110% and we know everything he will do will be with the best of intentions, for that reason alone i think we are in good hands in terms of survival. Monk...

    Michu

Selling bony in january will be daft unless we have got plenty more points on the board, much safer to sell him in the summer giving us time to find a new player at more resonable outlay. Isnt it also the african cup in jan feb ? Cant see someone buying him then waving him goodbye!
