    Off Topic Boxing

Ridiculous for me. Let him defend against Wlad and then have some mandatory defences! If these regulatory bodies didn't want him to be fighting for a belt (and thus winning one) why did they all have him ranked in they're top 5!

Funding Crisis in Racing – Continued

Racing needs an identity. Who are they trying to appeal to? They need to focus on the audience they WANT to attract and go for that. To me the problem with racing is, apart from the 'hardcore' who else gives a **** about it and sees it other than a day/night out where you get steaming drunk! So...

The Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase - Friday March 18 2016

Afternoon chaps, Christmas will tell us a lot about the GC and who's up to taking on the guys from last year. For me, if you have AP vouchers on Vautour you're mad and I think he'll end up in the Ryanair. I really do think that they all have it to do to beat Coneygree. There is absolutely no...

The July Cup: Saturday 11th July 2015

Not sure what I'll fancy in 900 years time Ron! Not sure the equine beauties of today will be around... As much as I find reading Shergar's posts pain-stakingly tough, I do actually agree here. The aussie sprinter will take this in my opinion, having had a nice pipe-opener on British soil at...

not606 Ebor Festival Day3 Racing Thread Friday 22nd August 2014

Horse got him out of trouble, seen Hughesy do that lots of times, the gaps don't come and he looks like a wally. The horse was able to beat a poor field with his class.

Breaking News: Jamie Spencer to retire at the end of the season

Talented rider, miserable sod, glory hunter. Don't like him, has cost me lots of money in the past, hopefully a good young hungry rider like Oisin Murphy might be given a chance.

so much sad news about paul gascoinge

Off to have his medical for the Sunday League side! Patience unfortunately has worn thin with the bloke. Very sad, great footballer.

    Garbage

Got to think of the bigger picture, if Orient finish behind us in second for arguments sake (which is very possible), this will be viewed as a good point. Performances and decisions are often about getting results, and this was a good one. Granted not a classic, but 1 is better than 0.

    Garbage

Is "Garbage" usually used to describe a clean sheet, and a good point against a side that lost in the play-off final last season? Orient were very organised, and came for the point. We never looked under any real pressure and should have won 1-0. Blimey oh Riley oh Kate.....

    Jet

With JET I think it's quite simple, he's not playing because he doesn't work anywhere near as hard as Wilbraham does. Tuesday night both Wilbs and Baldock were closing down their back 4, whereas JET doesn't give you that work-rate, he's a luxury, and I think that's how Cotts sees him. I think...

    Kieran Agard Bid Accepted

He's signed chaps! Once again thanks to Mr Lansdown for dipping into those incredibly deep pockets, that's a good signing for our league. Some real firepower up top now!

If you want to put yourself through it - the highlights vs Altrincham

That second goal in all honesty was an absolute calamity, no many positives for the Rovers boys to take out of that. Manager seems clueless to me...

    What next? Who next?

If it wasn't for Dunford, Rovers wouldn't be where they are now....top bloke!
